The Chiefs put a flag in the ground for Dont'e Thornton Jr., 42 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Hunter value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
