The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 56 spots for Jordan Hall, and value like that does not grow back.

The McNeil-Warren value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. It is not that McNeil-Warren is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
