The Jets did not so much draft Donovan Smith as overpay for him, 63 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Castro pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
