Nobody had Howard Cross III this high, and it is not close. The Ravens reached 19 spots to get him at pick No. 203. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Landing Carter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
