For all the boxes ticked, the Cardinals skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will need Mills to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Getting Shough where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
