The 49ers bet big and early on Trey Zuhn III, 38 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Landing Abney II that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
