The Giants kept it disciplined and banked a B.

Nobody else had Darius Robinson anywhere near slot 70. The Giants did, by 51 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, McConkey at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the 6th overall pick they get a go-to option on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick39 Rnd2 Jordan Morgan
Jordan Morgan slipping to pick No. 39 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick47 Rnd2 Ladd McConkey
Ladd McConkey slid further than he should have, and pick 47 is lovely value for the wide receiver. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick70 Rnd3 Darius Robinson
A real head-scratcher, Darius Robinson in the Round 3 slot is miles ahead of his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick107 Rnd4 Tyrice Knight
A premium they did not need to pay, Tyrice Knight a notch or two before his time. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick143 Rnd5 Ty'Ron Hopper
The board had cheaper options than Ty'Ron Hopper at Round 5, Pick 7, and it noticed. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick185 Rnd6 Jordan Magee
A reach for Jordan Magee in the 185th pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
