They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Carson Beck is the Giants' quarterback, full stop.

Thomas at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The Giants indulged a want in Campbell while a need in interior defensive lineman and tight end stayed open.
