Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Trey Amos, the No. 48 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 229. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
