Mickens should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. R.J. Mickens had no business being available in pick 247, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Smith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
