The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Jaylan Ford slide 33 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
