The board owed the Eagles one, and it paid up: Michael Taaffe, the No. 69 name on the board, sitting there at the 98th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
