The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Tory Horton slide 58 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Adding Germaine Pratt by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

They are betting Sawyer proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
