Somebody took the Cowboys to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

With linebacker, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them. The Williams pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
