The Javontae Jean-Baptiste pick is the one that will follow the Panthers into the fall. They took him 49 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. On value alone, Tracy Jr. makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and safety is still a hole.
