A solid, sensible weekend for the Ravens: B-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Ravens started one anyway for Javion Cohen, 35 picks ahead of schedule.

They banked enough surplus on Hart to cover a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Adonai Mitchell
They took Adonai Mitchell at par in No. 30, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
Kingsley Suamataia in pick No. 62 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick93 Rnd3 Jonah Elliss
Jonah Elliss at Round 3, Pick 30 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick130 Rnd4 Cam Hart
They will replay Cam Hart at the 130th overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick135 Rnd4 Javion Cohen
They reached a country mile for Javion Cohen at slot 135, and the board is aghast. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick165 Rnd5 Marist Liufau
No edge and no loss on Marist Liufau in the Round 5 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick228 Rnd7 Josh Proctor
They went early on Josh Proctor in pick 228, and the value did not follow. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick250 Rnd7 Nathan Thomas
Nathan Thomas in pick No. 250 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
