The phones sank the 49ers this weekend: B-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The 49ers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Sanders pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They are betting Vann proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
