The steal of the weekend belongs to the Patriots and Stout: A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Upton Stout tumbling to the Patriots in No. 238 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. Pegues has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
