After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Jackson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Van Pran has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
