They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.

Every board in the league had Smith lower, and that gap is the story. Wilson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.
