Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Ollie Gordon II, the No. 164 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Simpkins III reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
