A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a C.

The Akheem Mesidor pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 35 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Mathews Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on Mansoor Delane that the real verdict is a season or two away.
