The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Xavier Watts slide 68 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The cost of the Gabriel reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
