The Jaguars torched the value chart for Brandon Coleman, taking him 32 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Rice.

The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
