Draft Grade — Commanders
Overall

More right than wrong for the Commanders, and a B- to prove it. Everything else got attention, and wide receiver got none. That is a strange way for the Commanders to leave a draft. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick29
Rnd1
Mike Green
In the 29th pick they get a quarterback's worst nightmare at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick61
Rnd2
Cameron Williams
They paid a round early for Cameron Williams in the 61st overall pick, more than the board wanted. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
