For all the boxes ticked, the Cowboys skipped the loudest one: offensive lineman is exactly as bare as it was. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will need Price to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They banked enough surplus on Thieneman to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
