The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Price: B.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Jadarian Price, the No. 61 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Parker II left real value on the table behind him. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
