When a board-topper like Robert Lewis slides to slot 255, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Watson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
