The 49ers lost the trade table, and the C tells the story.

The 49ers clearly saw something nobody else did in Thomas Fidone II, taking him 119 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C.

Bryant falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Luther Burden III and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
