The Ravens bet the future on Daniels. The board says D-. The phones were a trap the Ravens kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.
So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Reaching for Washington left real value on the table behind him.
The Ravens indulged a want in Gray while a need in tight end stayed open. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
