The rest of the league had time to spare on David Ugwoegbu; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 85 spots ahead at slot 242. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They banked enough surplus on Davis to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Laken Tomlinson leading the way.
