Nobody else had Dominique Hampton anywhere near No. 201. The Lions did, by 34 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
