Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B-
ValueB+ NeedB TradesF FutureB+
The Titans won the night they stopped Singleton from sliding. Grade: B-.

Call it larceny. Nicholas Singleton sat on the board until the Round 6 slot, and the Titans did not need to be asked twice.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If Gabriel pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
In No. 6 they get a matchup problem out wide. A real need, handled.
Pick35 Rnd2 Tate Ratledge
Tate Ratledge at Round 2, Pick 3 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick37 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
They will replay Nick Emmanwori at slot 37 for years; that is how good the value is. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick73 Rnd3 Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell in the 73rd overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick102 Rnd4 Dillon Gabriel
They reached into another round for Dillon Gabriel, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick119 Rnd4 Jake Majors
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Jake Majors in pick 119, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick140 Rnd5 Danny Stutsman
Taking Danny Stutsman in the Round 5 slot is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick166 Rnd5 Connor Colby
Connor Colby in the 166th pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick177 Rnd6 Nicholas Singleton
Nicholas Singleton at slot 177 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick179 Rnd6 Eli Stowers
A slide stopped in the 179th overall pick, with Eli Stowers worth more than the price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick212 Rnd6 Clay Webb
Clay Webb in pick 212 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick240 Rnd7 Nick Nash
A conviction pick on Nick Nash at the 240th pick that the board grades a round light. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
