The Saints checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Saints walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

They banked enough surplus on Hunter to cover a lot of smaller sins. Mbow has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
