The Bears left with their quarterback, and a D- to match.

The Bears did not so much draft Eyabi Okie-Anoma as overpay for him, 95 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Torrence.

The Holker pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker still on the board. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
