For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Buccaneers walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
