The jury is out on the Dolphins. For now, C+.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Dolphins walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

The veteran additions, Amarius Mims chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. The cost of the Vinson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

If Walter Nolen and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
