The Steelers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Sam Leavitt, the No. 66 name on the board, in Round 3, Pick 35. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Hobbs has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
