Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Giants never addressed interior defensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

If Johnson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The back end got a real overhaul.
