You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Simeon Barrow Jr. in Round 5, Pick 10. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Amos pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
