The one they had to fix is still broken. The Panthers left linebacker untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.

The cost of the Grant reach is exactly the players who went right after him. On the needs board they went 3 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
