Draft Grade — Bills
Overall

Best value of the weekend goes to the Bills for Hadden: B-. You could see the war room lean forward. Kamal Hadden at the 189th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The McGregor reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Brian Thomas Jr.
In the 28th pick they get a go-to option on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick60
Rnd2
Bralen Trice
Bralen Trice at slot 60 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick128
Rnd4
Javon Foster
The board had Javon Foster higher than Round 4, Pick 28, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick134
Rnd4
Johnny Wilson
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Johnny Wilson in pick No. 134. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick144
Rnd5
Jaylin Simpson
Jaylin Simpson in pick 144 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick160
Rnd5
Braiden McGregor
A reach for Braiden McGregor in the Round 5 slot; a little patience would have been rewarded. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick163
Rnd5
Dwight McGlothern
They took Dwight McGlothern at par in the 163rd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick189
Rnd6
Kamal Hadden
The board fumbled Kamal Hadden all the way to No. 189, and they scooped it up. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick200
Rnd6
Ro Torrence
They barely believed it either: Ro Torrence still on the board at the 200th pick. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick204
Rnd6
Tanner McLachlan
Tanner McLachlan in slot 204 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The roster fit checks out.
Pick248
Rnd7
Andrew Raym
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Andrew Raym at pick No. 248. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
