Draft Grade — Bills
Overall
B-
ValueB-
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Bills: B-. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bills did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Derrick Harmon
In No. 30 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick56
Rnd2
Azareye'h Thomas
Azareye'h Thomas at the 56th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick62
Rnd2
Dylan Sampson
They took Dylan Sampson at par in the 62nd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
