The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named wide receiver, a need the 49ers walked right past. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Lomu has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 1 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
