This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jake Slaughter, the No. 54 name on the board, stolen at pick No. 79. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Somehow Jake Slaughter was still sitting there in pick No. 79, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

Will Lee III at Round 4, Pick 14 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.

The board fumbled Ted Hurst all the way to No. 197, and they scooped it up. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
