You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Walker at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
