Draft Grade — Chargers
Overall

The Chargers checked most of the boxes and earned a B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Chargers walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
Sanders at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick22
Rnd1
Colston Loveland
In the 22nd overall pick they get a mismatch in the passing game. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick55
Rnd2
T.J. Sanders
A tidy bit of business in pick 55, where T.J. Sanders graded well above the range. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick86
Rnd3
Omarr Norman-Lott
Value with a capital V on Omarr Norman-Lott in the Round 3 slot, a genuine coup. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
