Draft Grade — Colts

The Colts land in the muddy middle: C+. Nobody else had Elijah Arroyo anywhere near slot 45. The Colts did, by 29 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with tight end solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Hit on Jihaad Campbell and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Jihaad Campbell
In the 14th overall pick they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, though the board says they badly overpaid. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick45
Rnd2
Elijah Arroyo
They left a pile of value on the table to take Elijah Arroyo this early at pick No. 45. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick80
Rnd3
Andrew Mukuba
They took Andrew Mukuba at par in Round 3, Pick 16, which is nothing to complain about. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
