Draft Grade — Eagles

The steal of the weekend belongs to the Eagles and Kennard: B-. The rest of the league will want that one back. Kyle Kennard tumbling to the Eagles in the 96th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Stewart has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 1 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Josaiah Stewart
In slot 32 they get a disruptor off the edge, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick64
Rnd2
Chris Paul Jr.
A reach on Chris Paul Jr. in Round 2, Pick 32; the board had better options right there. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick96
Rnd3
Kyle Kennard
Kyle Kennard at pick No. 96 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
