No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

The Packers torched the value chart for Akeem Dent, taking him 96 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Packers indulged a want in Hicks while a need in quarterback, wide receiver and other spots stayed open.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
